Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

The Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion assists with the distribution of the Eucharist at the weekend Masses, at daily Mass as needed, at special liturgies and holy days and may bring Holy Communion to the homebound. Candidates for this ministry must be Baptized Catholics who are fully initiated into the Church, who regularly practice the Faith and are registered members of Our Lady of Peace Parish. To qualify, one must be approved by the Pastor and fulfill the diocesan requirement of attending the diocesan training preparation program.
