The Parish Social Ministry attempts to actively share in Christ’s love for God’s people. It is an attempt on the part of the parish to respond to the poor, not just the economically poor, but the poor as identified by every kind of hurt, pain, and loneliness. Assistance may be given in the following ways: Advocacy, Direct Service (Food Pantry), and Convening.
